Afrinoon is a working permaculture demonstration farm in rural Brittany. Karen and Glen Noon host certified courses, open days, and seasons of hands-on learning. Small groups, real gardens, nothing staged.
They need a place to experience it, where ideas come alive through soil, animals, and the rhythm of the seasons, and where you leave knowing what to do with the land you have.

Permaculture is full of beautiful ideas. But it's easy to gather knowledge without knowing how to begin, caught between concepts, plans, and possibilities. And in the meantime, the land waits.
Afrinoon is a small farm in Brittany, and a place of learning. Here, every garden, pond, hedge, and animal system becomes part of the experience. We work in small groups, learning slowly and practically, grounded in real life, not just theory.
There are different ways to learn with us. You might join us here in Brittany, learn online at your own pace, or take part in a blended journey that combines both. Wherever you are, you'll be supported with practical experience and guidance you can apply to your own space.
Whether you learn with us in person or from a distance, each pathway is grounded in practical experience and shaped by land we've been caring for since 2017.

We've been building our life here in Brittany since 2017, learning, experimenting, and shaping this smallholding into a place where permaculture is lived, not just taught. It's a working site, where we explore growing food, caring for animals, and designing systems that support both land and people.
